After the unfortunate washouts of the opening two rounds, the 2024 Mickey Thompson ARB Queensland Offroad Championship will finally get underway at this weekends Burdekin Enduro in Ayr, proudly supported by Bendigo Bank Ayr and Home Hill, Burdekin Shire Council, and Rocks Farming Company.

Others to watch in pursuit of Burdekin glory include local Jimco peddler Brad Belcher #22, former podium sitter Kent Battle #31, Class 1 stalwart Tony Fehlhaber #138, Brett Comiskey #1134 in his AWD Brenthel, Razorback charger Drew Callander #99, and his son Trent #127 in the teams Southern Cross.

Close battles are again expected across all classes at Burdekin with Matthew Lawless #71, Chris Land #80, Chris Colbourne #169, David Loughnan #104, Colin Gaven #295, Steven Vonpein #422, Brent Storey #682, Brett Glazebrook #668, Kane Prechelt #694s, Les Long #6626, Stephen Blake #726, Christian Trusz #816, Stuart Chapman #815, Brayden Mifsud #1026 and James Sant #1144 amongst the notable crews.

The AORRA QLD Off Road Championship would again like to thank their major naming right sponsors ARB & Mickey Thompson Tyres for continuing their strong partnership, whilst expressing their gratitude towards the other championship sponsors including, Premium Soil Conditioners & Fertilisers, Lucas Papaw Remedies, Comiskey Mining Services, Link Engine Management, Farm & Garden Polaris, North Lakes Best Western Hotel & JSW Powersports.

With another packed line up ready to hit the Ayr Rifle Range on Saturday, there are plenty of contenders lining up to become the next Burdekin Enduro champion. With full camping and catering available, and racing scheduled to commence from 7.45am Saturday and 8am Sunday morning; it is set to be another great weekends racing in Queensland.
